The more health information I gather and the more conversations I have with people, the more convinced I am that a lot of people really don’t feel well. Think about the people in your life — family, friends, co-workers, etc. Are they often tired, unfocused, angry, sad, mean, lazy, antagonistic, and so on. Do you fit any of these categories? Usually it will just be chalked off to personality — and certainly this is part of it — but more and more I’m thinking, “They just don’t feel well.” We are all going to have our moments, but I believe for the most part we should feel well. I believe it is our nature to be energetic, connected, pleasant, loving, and kind. I believe we should sleep well, feel like moving our bodies, reproduce with few problems, not have to struggle with weight issues, and go through our days relatively calm and focused. Our world and the people in it are not well. Our planet, our food, and our bodies are toxic. Instead of beating ourselves up and complaining about the habits and behaviors of others, let’s start looking at it as — Maybe I/they just don’t feel well. Once that acknowlegment is made, then we can begin exploring reasons, options, and start choosing solutions. This is where the Process of Healing begins.

I would like to hear from people who have a supplement friendly medical doctor. I’m asked many times if I know what doctors in the area are open to having their patients use supplementation. So if you have one, let me know.

There is so little the average person knows about what actually goes on among our elected officials. It is very easy to stay oblivious — and frankly I believe that is the way “they” want us to be. I stayed in that oblivous mode for many years, confident that the right thing would eventually happen in spite of corrupt politicians and greedy corporations. I no longer believe this. We need to pay attention. A good place to start is by watching PBS and Link TV. There is much we don’t know. We go about our busy lives. We work hard to give our children all the things we think they need. What we don’t always realize is that paying attention to what our government is doing is also something we should be doing for our children as well. Things are out of control. As citizens we need to pay attention and get involved. Check out the programming on PBS. If there is a program with Bill Moyers name associated with it make a point to watch. Let’s work on this awareness thing together. I have not always been a New York State resident, so I really need to work on educating myself about New York State related politics.

Many people who are new to natural healing do not see the connection of mind, body, spirit and it is a challenge to get this concept across. Each aspect really does affect the other. Our lifes are so caught up in the daily gotta do things, we become disconnected from our individual wholeness. Conventional medicine practices further this divide by sending us to one specialist for this problem, another specialist for the next problem, etc. Emotional issues are sent to the mental health specialist and our spiritual needs — well many people don’t even realize they have spiritual needs– so these tend to get little to no attention. In my personal experience, spiritual exploration has proven to be the most important aspect of my healing adventure.
